Terms & Conditions

Prices:

All prices quoted are exclusive of taxes and freight charges. Any orders shipped to destinations within California must include applicable state tax, unless a current valid resale permit is on file.

Terms of Payment:

All goods are payable immediately upon receipt, unless otherwise arranged. Acceptable forms of payment are Visa, MasterCard, Discovery, American Express and PayPal, all in U.S. funds.

 

Delivery and Title:

Unless otherwise noted, delivery will be made FOB at supplier and to be paid by purchaser. Title and risk of loss and damage to goods shall pass to Purchaser upon delivery to Carrier, Purchaser or Purchasers Agent at FOB point.

Limitation of Liability:

In no event shall LightVision Communications be legally responsible for any loss of use, revenue, profit, or any direct, indirect consequential damages arising out of or connected with sale use or operation of products sold.

Limited Warranty:

All our products have a Limited Manufacturer Warranty unless otherwise stated on the site. Please check the product description for extended warranty from different makers. If any product proves defective in materials or workmanship within one year of purchase, we will arrange for repair or replacement, unless otherwise stated in the product description.

The limited warranty does not cover any losses or damages that may occur as result of:

  1. Shipping or improper installation or maintenance.
  2. Misuse, abuse, neglect, accident or improper environment.
  3. Any repair, modification, adjustment, or installation of options/parts by anyone other than a LightVision Communications authorized service center, excessive/inadequate electrical power surges or other irregularities.

Due to liability and legal issues, LightVision Communications is unable to assist in the areas of networking, firewall and/or anything outside the performance of the actual DVR purchased from LightVision Communications. 

In the event that a DVR is being returned for repair, all Hard Drives run the risk of having their data deleted or re-formatted. All data will be lost. It is advised that all DVR data be supported by a secondary source of back up before sent in for repair. As these are electronic items their lifespan is increased by the amount care in their treatment.

If you have any problems with a product you have purchased, please retain your dated sales receipt/invoice and contact our technical support staff at 951-340-1922 before deciding to return the product. If no solution is reached RMA number with shipping information will be issued. All Shipping & related costs are non-refundable. The detail RMA policy is posted below.

Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number policy as follow:

All returns must be pre-authorized, contain all original material, all necessary accessories, original packaging. We are not responsible for goods damaged in return shipping or lost packages so please ensure items are packed securely and insurance is purchased on the item in case it gets lost.

  1. RMA # is only good for 10 days from the date of issue.
  2. No merchandise may be returned without prior written authorized RMA #.
  3. All returned merchandise must be accompanied by a copy of the invoice, and the RMA # written on the mailing label.
  4. LightVision Communications reserves the right not to replace product until the replacement is returned.
  5. All returns must be shipped prepaid (No COD Accepted.)
  6. “No Fault Found” RMA items can be returned for credit with a 15% restocking fee or shipped back at purchaser’s expense.
  7. RMA items will be repaired or replaced at LightVision Communications discretion.

BE SURE TO CLEARLY MARK THE RMA NUMBER ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BOX AND ENCLOSE THE PROOF OF PURCHASE, OTHERWISE, YOUR RETURN WILL BE REFUSED. FREIGHT COLLECT OR COD RETURNS WILL ALSO BE REFUSED.

Restocking Charge:

If LightVision Communications accepts returned merchandise, there will be a fifteen percent (15%) restocking charge unless LightVision Communications has made other arrangements. Any merchandise returned or exchanged must be approved by LightVision Communications. ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS.

Legal Costs:

The undersigned agrees to pay all invoices within the terms of the sale and further agrees to pay all collection costs and attorney fees necessary to collect past due amounts.

Applicable Law:
The rights and obligation of the parties under this agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, excluding its choice of law provisions. All disputes arising under or related to this agreement that are not settled by consents of the parties shall be litigated in the State or Federal Courts in the State of California.

Company's Right to Change Terms and Conditions of Use or Site Content:

The Company may at any time, add to, change or remove any part of these Terms and Conditions of Use, with or without notice. Any changes to these Terms and Conditions of Use or any other terms posted on this Site apply as soon as they are posted. By continuing to use this Site after any changes are posted, you are indicating your acceptance of those changes. The Company may add, change, discontinue, remove or suspend any other Content posted on this Site, including features and specifications of products described or depicted on the Site, temporarily or permanently, at any time, without notice and without liability. You should visit this page prior to each use of the Site to determine the current Terms and Conditions of Use to which you are bound.
